Mumbai: Ajit Issac, founder and non-executive chairman of Quess Corp, has topped the list of India’s philanthropic super rich Malayalees released by Hurun India. In the latest Hurun India Philanthropy list 2022, Ajit is ranked 12th at the national level, while HCL Technologies founder Shiv Nadar bags the number one position. Ajit has contributed Rs 115 crores for humanitarian causes in 2021. Ajit Issac Foundation is supporting the new hospital project to be started in Kerala by the Indian Institute of Science.
Infosys cofounder Chris Gopalakrishnan (90 Crores), Muthoot Finance chairman George Jacob Muthoot (60 Crores), Kochouseph Chittilappilly (40 Crores), S D Shibulal (35 Crores), Joy Alukkas (10 Crores), Manappuram Finance Chairman VP Nandakumar (7 Crores), Shabana Faisal & Faisal Kottikollon (6 crores) are the other Malayalees who made it to the list.
According to Hurun India, the contributions include both CSR funds and individual donations.
