Target to achieve unicorn status by 2025
Quest Global, India’s prominent global engineering services provider began its remarkable journey in 1997 with a project from General Electric (GE). The word Quest can be interpreted as ‘A long effort to find or do something’. And this year, the company completes 25 years of its unique journey, living up to that name.
The company has always been looking for the pinnacle of engineering excellence. With its matchless excellence and expertise, the company has always found solutions to the world’s most complex engineering problems. Quest has brought more than 13000 of the world’s best engineers under its umbrella.
Flying from Dharwad, Karnataka with big ambitions, Ajit Prabhu founded Quest in 1997 in Schenectady, New York. The office was just 200 square feet. In 2014, the company entered the next phase of growth with the acquisition of Nest Software. By the time, the company grew upto a team of 6000 plus engineers. Acquisitions ramped up in 2018 and companies like Mobilia, Exilant and Engicom became part of Quest.
Again in 2019, US aerospace company Dakota Moon was acquired. A special center was also started in France.
The company started its Thiruvananthapuram delivery center in 2020. Another center was also started in Pune. While completing 25 years in 2022, the company has 56 delivery centers across 17 countries. One of the big centers is at Thiruvananthapuram with 3000 engineers onboard.
Quest is now starting its Kochi Center with 200 employees as a mark of the silver jubilee year. 500 more employees will be recruited within six months for the Kochi center. The next phase of growth will begin in Kochi.
